Bar:
A $30 per hour bartender fee will be charged (1 bartender per 75 people) for open and hosted bars (2 hour minimum). Texas law imposes a duty on The Bright Shawl to act responsibly in the service of alcohol to its regular patrons, as well as guests of any private parties. In order to comply with its legal obligation, and in the interest of protecting its patrons and the general public, The Bright Shawl, its agents and employees reserve the right to refuse service of alcoholic beverages to any patron or guest who, by his or her appearance or behavior, is believed to be incapable of tolerating further alcoholic consumption. Also, by law, alcoholic beverages may not be brought onto the property or taken from the premises.
Action Station:
There is a $50 fee for any manned station and a $30 fee per hour for tray passing.
Cake Cutting :
We will gladly cut and box up any remaining cake brought into the Bright Shawl for a $30.00 fee. This service is included at no charge with cakes prepared by the Bright Shawl.
Ceremony:
A 1 hour ceremony, including chairs, set up and clean up is available for $400. A ceremony that is performed within the four hour reception time is $300. The Bright Shawl facility is available for rehearsals for a nominal fee.

- Tours: Please call for an appointment for a special viewing of our facility with one of our Event Coordinators. Our office hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Special arrangements can be made for after-hour or Saturday appointments.
- Decorations: Standard centerpiece decorations are available for a nominal fee. You may also bring in your own centerpieces, however, all decorations are subject to approval by The Bright Shawl.
- Chair Covers:White chair cover and sash are available for $3.50 per chair. Additional colors available, prices vary.
- Linen: Upgraded table linens are available in an array of colors and fabrics for a nominal fee.
- Security: Evening events require one security guard per 100 guests with a five hour minimum. The Bright Shawl will provide the appropriate number of security personnel at $30 per hour.
- Off-Premise Catering: Off-Premise Catering is available through The Bright Shawl. Ask your Event Coordinator for details and pricing.
- Sales Tax: The current applicable sales tax is charged on all taxable items.
- Service Charges: A 20% service charge is added to all services, rentals and food and beverage purchases.
