Our History

The Bright Shawl of San Antonio, a charming limestone cottage, is located central to historic downtown San Antonio. The original facility, known as the King home, was named a recorded Texas landmark in 1973. The Junior League of San Antonio restored the original home and built an adjoining facility that increased the capacity of the Bright Shawl to 14,000 square feet. It boasts an assortment of meeting rooms to accommodate groups both large and small. It's perfect for weddings - including bridal showers, the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony and reception!
